These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Lia's Home & Pet Co. (“LHP Co.,” “we,” “us”). By booking a service, creating an account, or using liashomeandpet.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Our services

We provide pet sitting, dog walking, pet grooming, snowbird home checks, and concierge errands in Anthem, Arizona and nearby areas. Services, availability, and pricing are described on our website and may change. We may decline or end service at our discretion — for example, for safety reasons or aggressive animals.

Bookings & scheduling

• A booking request is confirmed only once we accept it; we'll confirm by message or in the portal.
• You're responsible for giving us accurate, complete information about your pets, home, and access.
• You authorize us to enter your home as needed to perform the service, and to seek veterinary care for your pet in an emergency. You are responsible for any resulting veterinary costs.

Cancellations

Established clients may cancel same-day at no charge. For new clients, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice before a scheduled visit. Cancellations due to genuine emergencies are always free — life happens.

Payment & billing

• Prices are as quoted at the time you book. Recurring clients may receive discounts as described on our site.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for completed services and any agreed fees.
• Invoices are issued per service period and are due on the date shown. If auto-pay is enabled, the balance is charged automatically on the due date.
• Failed or late payments may pause service until resolved.

Your responsibilities

• Provide safe access (keys, lockbox, or gate codes) and accurate care instructions.
• Keep pets' vaccinations current and disclose any medical or behavioral conditions.
• Ensure your home has working utilities and a safe environment for visits.
• Keep your account information and contact details up to date.

Text messaging program

As part of our service we offer SMS updates (visit confirmations and reminders, on-the-way and visit-complete notices, visit reports, and billing/account messages). By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive these messages.

Photos & visit reports

We may take photos of your pets and home during visits to include in your visit reports. We use these to document our care for you. We will not publish identifiable photos of you, your pets, or your home publicly (for example, on social media or marketing) without your permission.

Insurance

Please maintain your own homeowner's/renter's and pet insurance as you see fit. Nothing in these Terms is a substitute for your own coverage.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and website are provided “as is,” and our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LHP Co. harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from inaccurate information you provide, your pet's behavior, unsafe conditions at your property, or your breach of these Terms.

Intellectual property

The website, its content, and the LHP Co. name and marks are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission. Information you submit remains yours; you grant us the limited right to use it to provide the services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
